Question 3: Does Latin promote excellence?

Emphatically, yes! Learning Latin is an outstanding means of learning any other subject.

It teaches a student to think critically. Too often today, the idea is to amass great

quantities of knowledge in the hope that it will come in handy sometime. Knowledge is

good, but the smarter idea is to be able to train one’s habit of thought so as to be able to

dissect a problem to gain understanding and apply knowledge to come to a solution.

Teaching our students how to learn will serve them for a lifetime.
