News from the Eagle's Nest

St. John Francis Regis School

St. Regis Families,

We have successfully made it through the 2nd week of school!  Your students are getting back into the swing of things and are on track for a wonderful school year!  I have a few reminders for next week.

Saturday, 8/27, the Back to School Picnic has been cancelled due to the rain forecast.  The picnic has been rescheduled for September 24th. We will send you more information soon.

Thursday, 9/1, the sixth grade students are in charge of Mass.  Please join us in celebrating Mass together!

Friday, 9/2, is a 12:15 dismissal.  Students may dress down in Spirit Wear.  On Spirit Wear days students may wear casual non-uniform pants/jeans/sweatpants/shorts with any St. Regis Spirit Wear or SOLID red, black, or white shirt – NO PRINTS. No Yoga pants or leggings and no holes in any clothing. If your student chooses to wear shorts they must be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee. No running shorts or spandex shorts are allowed. See pages 34-35 in the Handbook.

Spirit Wear order forms, sweatshirt order forms, and field trip t-shirt order forms will be sent out after Labor Day.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Cookie Sales are under way!  Please help us meet our goal by selling at least five items to meet our goal of $6,000.   St. Regis earns 40% of every item sold in the Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser. Your sales count towards your family fundraising obligation of $100. (See page 10 in the Handbook). These funds go to support teachers and students with classroom curriculum and field trips.

Our new website launched this week!  Check us out at www.regisschool.org!  Please follow our Blog for other updated information!

We sincerely appreciate your support and patience in our dismissal procedure.  We have the process down to 12-15 minutes on daily basis.

Have a wonderful weekend!
