Welcome!

Welcome to St. Regis Academy!

My name is Robin Fisher, and as principal and early childhood center director of St. Regis Academy, I’d like to welcome you and thank you for taking time to learn more about our academy. I feel blessed to be the principal of St. Regis and I look forward to continuing its longstanding tradition of excellence. Our school has been educating children in the Catholic tradition since 1966.

St. Regis Academy provides children six weeks through grade 8 with a Catholic education aimed at educating the whole child: encouraging academic, spiritual and personal growth. As a fully accredited Diocesan School, we are committed to delivering superior scholastics in family classroom environments, plus we have exciting opportunities beyond the classroom through which students can learn and grow as scholars and individuals throughout their years.  We are called to build up a new generation of students who desire to be vessels of God’s merciful love. We will use Catholic Classical Liberal Arts Education methods to help children learn to communicate eloquently, think critically, and serve humbly while also having joy for the Gospel and a heart for the Lord and their peers. Classical education emphasizes the transcendentals of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. It seeks to cultivate a sense of wonder and awe helping students develop a genuine love for learning and serving. A young adult formed in the classical model, (a systematic education rising from the factual basis (grammar) through the internal reasoning (logic) to the articulation (rhetoric) of his master of a subject, is prepared to discover the logic of systems, has the mental alacrity to learn a new subject themselves and the verbal mastery to teach it to their peers. We provide a classical liberal arts education because we prepare our students to become critical thinkers and men and women of character.

St. Regis Academy in partnership with parents, as the primary educators of their children, seeks to provide a Catholic Classical Liberal Arts Education centered on Christ. We seek to cultivate an environment that fosters a student’s natural desire for Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. St. Regis Academy prepares students to think critically, reason logically, articulate clearly, and engage others persuasively. Our enrollment includes racial, ethnic, and economic diversity within the Body of Christ, providing a wealth of opportunity for scholars to grow in virtue by pursuing spiritual, emotional, and academic excellence.

St. Regis scholars have a variety of opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as scouts, sports, service projects, yearbook, choir and student ambassadors. As each scholar moves through our programs, we will support his/her effort to become a responsible decision-maker and a good citizen of our academy and of our community. In addition, St. Regis Academy has a dedicated and experienced staff, an active PTO and School Advisory Council, and caring and committed families.  Parental involvement is essential and prevalent in our academy.

We’d love to introduce you to our community. Here at St. Regis Academy, faith and learning meet.  The lessons learned here, both in and out of the classroom, intersect for a well-rounded scholar.

We welcome you to come and see what a difference our academy makes. We will give you a tour of our campus, answer your questions and introduce you to our St. Regis family. Your children are welcome to come and shadow another student for a full day.

You can schedule a tour by contacting Marilyn Moore at mmoore@regisschool.org or 816-763-5837.

We look forward to hearing from you!
